Michigan 2025
In the middle of the summer, I spent a week back home in Michigan. And what a busy week it was. Fishing. Birding. A quick trip up to my sister’s lake house in Traverse City for some lakeside sunrises, pontoon boat rides, and swimming with my niece. And somewhere in there, my dad had back surgery, so helping him get settled and into a routine for recovery.
But it was a great week with family. Good food, great conversations, lots of laughs with my niece. And overall, a lot of R&R. 10 / 10 recommend.
