Hi!

Welcome to my blog.

#30inks30days

One of the Instagram accounts I follow is InkJournal. During April, they host a #30inks30days challenge, in which everyone uses a different ink for every day of the month. I’ve felt like I was in a rut with color changes lately, and needed something to motivate me to use some different inks. After all, I have a ton of ink so why not use some of it.

But I took it too far. Not only did I use 30 inks in 30 days, but I also used 30 pens. Yep, 30 different pens, 30 different inks. The pen cleaning is going to take HOURS… but I had fun all month. And bonus, because I had so many pens inked up, it prompted me to use my fountain pens more throughout the day - jotting down quick notes, sketching, journaling, meeting notes at work, whatever the task, I tried to use a fountain pen. By the end of the month, my coworkers were asking every morning what ink and pen combination I had for the day, which allowed me to pen-able my coworkers. Pretty sure I’ve gotten at least one or two interested.
